Not to be confused with the complete original soundtrack, this special release by Varèse Sarabande is the result of Elmer Bernstein, Cauldron producer George Korngold, and the Utah Symphony Orchestra recording select highlights from Bernstein’s epic score. “Highlight” albums had once been standard practice, and this one, produced in Salt Lake City, Utah, under Bernstein’s baton, is no less a tour-de-force in quality and content.

Magical, sprightly themes, fanciful and romantic motifs, and a full-bodied animated spirit befitting a Disney film are resplendent and abundant in the nine hand-picked tracks this special album comprises.
